Dining room excellent staff could not have been more helpful.

The worst shower I've ever used. Rubber bathmat required to stand on when showering, stops feet from slipping. Channels on t.v. not very good. I have a PVR decoder, cost R449, no monthly fees, admittedly not good for sport. But entertainment wise better than hotels. Ramps far too steep especially one to reception.

That hotel is disastrous

Nothing at all,except for the location

Clean and nice looking accomodation. That place is very old and rooms are bad. No drinking water provided by the hotel instead they sell water to you. They know precisely there's a problem with water there but they did not put plans in place so as to fix the problem.

We did enjoy the stay and found the setting very pleasing.

breakfast was ok nothing special but what can be done with breakfast? The ala cart menu was very avarage. The location was very nice.

I thought it was a little bit pricey for the accommodation which was OK but very avarage. The room was very dark even with the curtain drawn and the door wide open.

The setting is so beautiful but I really think the hotel needs a bit of attention and a upgrade!

The breakfast was delicious. And the setting of the diningrooms and so on was excellent.

The carpet in the rooms is threadbare. The TV didn't work. The towels although clean were very very thin.

Oh the bar staff.

Oh the bar staff. The breakfast staff . The cruise staff. Wonderful . And yes the lady who booked the cruise for us was wonderful.

Receptionist was not welcoming at all. No water in our bath tub. Didn't get the spirit of adventure that we booked. Booking two rooms and made to pay for an extra room and told the kids will get extra bed. Only to sleep on the floor

I will recommend this hotel for its location , food and feiendly staff alone

Food and staff friendliness is exceptional, also speed with which all is tended to in a proficiwnt way

Rails on bath in wheelchair accessible room, was in the way - making it practically impossible to get into bath. Would be nice if bath only has nice plain broad rims, with grab tgings rather on the walls. Small steps at enteances orl bit too steep ramps was frustration, but there was aleays feiendly help available.

Location of the hotel and view from the room and balcony

The unsafe wooden railings of the balcony, the coach in the room was uncomfortable (the seats) and the shower missed a panel

What was the highlight of Halyards Hotel

Although I did enjoy the stay, the general condition of the room is below par to what i expected.

Spacious rooms. Nice view of Marina. Ample parking. The hot breakfast was top class. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

I stayed in unit 18 and found the following. Bathroom is very mouldy in general. Shower is definitely not up to standard. A small bar fridge would be a welcome addition. TV channels very blurry and channels provided very poor compared to other establishments who charges similar or less, but provide more. Security poor as windows have no burglar bars and front door is not very secure.

Wonderful stay.

Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Location is wonderful and the view of the marina fantastic.

The building needs a bit of paint and a building upgrade.
